Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We played poorly, almost had the game handed to us and we made a balls of it, simple. Best of luck to PSG, no complaints.

Last time I looked we are still top of our league, a position many in here wish they could be in. A bad night but that's all, the drama queens and haters keep working away, its probably the highlight of your season.

Sorry but Chelsea going out of the Champions League in a home match at an easrly stacge is big news regardless of their league position.

David Luiz didn't stand tall; he threw himself to the ground in pitiful fashion, feigning a headbutt and then jumping up and smiling as he got booked for his nonsense.

I am pleased that PSG went through and it was deserved, but let's not pretend that PSG embody the true values of the game. Football lost tonight.

Luiz didnt go to ground in that incident with Costa

Whats hilarious is Chelsea can create chances at will when they want to.. Mourinho is so anti-football.

Exactly, allow them to play the game and they are up there with the best but Jose seems to enjoy the drama and needs the headlines at the expense of just trusting his team to go and win.

    F*cking beautiful.

The 11 men from Paris came across the channel and played not like the French stereotype, maybe because not many are from France, but stood tall like the Eiffel Tower of their team's native city, battling against the injustice and bias of the a referee from the kick off. It's not often that you see 10 men beat 11, but to see 10 men beat 12 was before today the stuff of myth, but no more, these men will return to Paris no longer mere men but legends.

Somebody alert the mods. Andersonisgod has hacked Turtyturds account! :p

Was Don Reavie as hated as Jose, looking at the Damned Utd he had the same kind of attitude as Jose.
Yes; he wasn't a popular man. Mainly because of the way he had his team play. They were a horrible bunch of players. If it moved, they kicked it.

One of those was a fictionalised account taking some liberties and the other is reality.

I wanna see Jose cry. He has wiped his eye twice already.

I missed Silva's winning header at the time. That is a great goal!

He does it from time to time. When United were robbed against Madrid a couple years ago, he admitted that the better team on the night, lost.

Nope his analysis after the Madrid semi last season was the same, we don't lose many so he is not in that position often. Can see why you are mistaken

You can buy the English league, when you try to buy the Champions league there are always deeper pockets, bigger clubs and better footballjng sides in your way.

It sounds like some heads are going to be kicked in at the Chelsea training ground tomorrow.

Mourinho still needling at PSG over 'simulation' and physicality, even though he admits PSG were the better team.

The man really is a parody of himself.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,480 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

He's blaming English football ! That it's not excepted in England to be '' clever'' as he calls it, to spoil. He feels PSG were more '' clever''
I don't agree, I thought PSG played the whole game and only controlled it when leading !

Apart from the stick on peno in the first half, still never mind Liverpool might even qualify for the CL next season again still won't get to the knock out stages though even from a really easy group. We will be in the knock out stages as normal again next season no fear.

Discussing win bonuses and PSG's €250k per man for tonight and how that's not done in England.

Hamann: "I grew up with win bonuses."
    Maloney: ".....of that size?"
Hamann: "No, not of that size unfortunately, otherwise i wouldn't be here.":D
