Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Haven't Rovers stopped running club buses up to Derry cause this kept happening?

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Derry have quality in their side. I don't think the season will be as tough as you think.

They'll struggle at home until the surface gets better as it is almost impossible to play on. Players couldn't even run with the ball as it was bobbling all over the place.
How'd McMillan get on last night? Hopefully a bit of an improvement from the Longford game.

    Yup just a typo.

By someone paid to press the Submit key, as these happen throughout the season I hope you keep sticking with the just a typo.

In the press pack, Derry beat St. Pat's in last years cup final.

Comfortable enough win on a very cold night. Rovers very good first half, did enough in second half. Good goals, especially the second run and goal by Waters. About 800 to 900 Rovers down I'd say.

Ideally what will be seen plenty of this season from Rovers. Goals from wide, hard work upfront and midfield running the show with any combination of Cregg/Brennan/McCabe/Fahey/McPhail or Blanchard in the middle...and defending the lead solidly.

It even lets SOC do what he does...

Skipping tackles, slacking off, whinging and generally acting the cnut before pinging in a goal from 25 yards?

then celebrating, going back to skipping tackles, picking fights and walking around again...

How Drennan do when he came on?

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 15,694 Mod ✭✭✭✭dfx-

He was ok, but it was a much quieter or 'solid' second half in general. How he'd do if North got injured or Rovers are chasing the game might be different

This is the worry for Bray this season, was evident in first match and now this happens.
