Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Going rate for hedge trimming

I wont be able to keep any of my hedges tidy this year as ill be away a lot for the summer. just wondering what was the going rate for hedge trimming. I normally wouldn't mind agreeing an hourly rate with a fella and tell him to do it and pay him whatever if I was around to keep an eye on things.

However seems I wont be around I would like to organize someone to come and trim the hedges at certain time and give me a price for each visit. I have got laurels, beech, fuchsia and escalonia. None are more than 5 feet tall and there will be no need to take any clippings away. I have a place to put them nearby. Both sides need to be trimmed on all hedges and its only ever light trimming.

I would like to measure it myself and have a general idea what the price will be before I agree a price with someone. I have a few lads in mind none more than 20 miles away in the west of Ireland.

    Any help appreciated.
