Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm meeting a client for afternoon drinks in the Mayfair area, could anyone suggest a nice bar for us to meet in? I don't know the area well at all

I've always wanted to go to Mr Fogg's, but it might be too quirky to bring a client:

Or you could try one of the bars in the swish hotels in Mayfair, like The Connaught:

F u c k me pink is that what it is now, I remember when that place was an ale and oyster bar (Great Guinness) , great place to skive off for afternoon, other place was the Punchbowl (It had a snug) till that Goob****e Richie ruined it.

Opening post you have a choice between Mitchel and Butlers or Punch doing the traditional pub rip off experience.

The Guinea if you want expensive pub food.

Suggest Shepard market, you have four pubs to chose from, a polish/Mexican restaurant along with the usual Lebanese places.

We no longer have much choice in the Mayfair :o
