Restored Lancet Steel stright razor.

    Hi.
    Some time ago i have restored this unusual razor:

    Unfortunately original, horn scales cracked at pivot point. I had to make a set of new ones. I decided to use corian this time. Very nice material for scales and completely waterproof. I've added horn & aluminium wedge.

    Tell me more about that scale material. I would love ivory on one of my razors but obviously can't have it and the corian looks like it would be a very nice substitute for it.

    It is used fo making kitchen worktops and bathroom accesories. Very nice material which indeed (from the distance) looks like ivory:)
