Log book help please

Hello lads not sure if this is the right section but i don't know where else to post it. I just went to the motor tax office to tax my 7.5t truck and i left without the log book. Now I'm not familiar with the procedure so does anybody know if i have made a big mistake or is that the procedure? I haven't done this in years…

Yes when I asked the fella that was taxing it if that was all I needed he said said yes and kept the log book in his hand and me being the eejit i am I walked out without it

Very likely they'll post it back to you if you don't collect it for a few days. I doubt it's the first time someone has left documents behind. Contact them early Monday, you might be able to drop in and collect it.
