I've heard (or perhaps, more accurately, noticed) this a lot more recently, with politicians and colleagues using it (and not sparingly).

I know it's grammatically correct etc., but to me the phrases "x reflects y" or "x is a reflection of y" sounds much more natural and less stilted than "x is reflective of y".

Opinions / thoughts?
