Hi, I'm looking for advice from people that have done an LLM or even a dissertation. I am finished my LLM next month. I did it over two years part time. Now we have to complete a dissertation which WE THINK has to be done by September. There are only three of us in the class. What I am essentially looking for is when you did yours were you helped, guided with choosing your topic? Finding a supervisor etc... I have had none of this, and atm still have no topic as what I had chosen I was told was too broad, which I was only told this two months after I had started researching after I made a general query. I am thinking of finishing the semester and looking into trying to do the dissertation elsewhere..

Any info would be appreciated
