Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Changing oil myself, how to reset onboard computer?

    Hello

Oil change coming up for me and I'd like to change it myself to avoid paying a mechanic. My car has a feature which shows oil left as a %. So when it's at like 10% it means oil change is coming up. If I change the oil myself, would a garage want to (if I payed of course) just reset the computer for me so it says 100%? I've never reached 0% but I assume a message comes up saying that I need to change my oil and I'd like to avoid that. What does it cost usually for a garage to just reset that? Also are there any ways that I can reset it myself? I don't have any fancy diagnostic tool or w/e it's called.

    Thanks
