Where to stay for a few days in Co. Galway?

Hey all, I've been Googling but the sites I've found are targeted towards Americans coming to wee ireland. I'd like to rent a cottage for my partner, 1 year old and I, ideally near the sea. Any suggestions on decent sites or places to check? Am hoping I can find a few boat trips, go cycling in the national park and what not and probably head out to Aran Islands (or stay there and travel across - that would be awesome). Any suggestions on decent sites or places to check?

Might I also be so bold as to suggest checking out Inis Boffin ... stunning place this time of year and has, I believe, holiday homes to rent, as well as b&b and a hotel..
