    Hi,

    I want to transfer money from my account to my mother's but I'm not sure how to do it. I have a student current account and she has a savings acount. What details of hers do I need to transfer money to her account?

    Hi onethreefive, 

    Thank you for contacting Bank of Ireland. 

    To transfer money to another account you will need to register the recipients account details as a payee and once activated you can complete your transfer. 

    To set an account up as a payee, you will require the IBAN number and the BIC details of the beneficiary.
