Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Blind Rooney Carrick and Fellaini were excellent

    Centre halves were decent too

Would love a Falcao goal now

Good win and a nonsense free match thread without the usual posters. Wonder what the difference was?

All match threads will go like that when results go in favour of certain teams. I would have thought that was obvious.

So this is what a match-thread should look like.

I don't want anyone moaning that's theres no Logos, its getting too late in the day for that plus if you care that much why don't you create the thread next time

Anyway going for A United 2-0 Victory

For now on every man united match thread should not have logos! Surely there is a connection between the lack of logos and good display!!:pac:

The best 45 minutes I've seen from Utd post-Ferguson.

    Where has that been?

Next Sunday is set up brilliantly, particularly if Liverpool win tomorrow.

no, Spurs were far too inferior for it to be game of the season.

Utd completely nullified them, that's why.

And on what gowl said, that's not respecting man utds performance today. We were class

Our defensive positioning and pressing was brilliant today.

Exactly. Utd completely killed spurs. The tactics and philosophy was spot on and people will put this down to spurs being poor

    FFS lads, you're so touchy.

You do know I never said Utd weren't brilliant? in fact I said they were.

You do also know that Spurs can also have been shíte as well as Utd being awesome, yeah? That's not disrespecting the Utd performance.

What's that meant to mean , the philosophy was spot on? Could you please elaborate on that, what was the philosophy and how was it implemented?

They're very defensive, unlike United yesterday thank be Jayziz

I dont think it was defensive

United had space all over the field. In nearly all other games, United opponents closed all the players down within seconds. This was one of the first games this season where they were given ample space all over the field

United went very wide and had Spurs stretched, the passing was top class. The team worked, and having Rooney back up front is where he should have been all season.
No coincidence the goals have returned.

I think United created the space, Fellaini is a great player for ball control and that was vital, Carrick back and it was a team and formation that worked.

I agree Rooney was excellent in his proper position.

If we can create so much space in the next few games I will be delighted.
