I think it is fair to say this is the bust part of Liverpool of their boom bust cycle.:)

    Justice.

Dunno what it is with teams taking their foot off the pedal in the second half against Liverpool but it gives sky sports a great narrative.

    Right team won.

Pathetic post. Every team has their moments, you've won have some class.

    From a Liverpool supporter? Lmfao

Just saw the stamp, disappointing from Gerrard.

    Fellaini/Mata motm.

Should have swept them aside once they went down to ten men, had ample opportunity but delighted with the 3 points!

    Liverpool show their true colours.

They can't handle a class team so they try to kick them and injure them.

Hard to defend that bull**** stamping as a pool fan. Such a nightmare game to watch on so many levels. United deserved winners but we have only ourselves to blame . Stamping , red cards, Penos and countless mistakes . Bizarre stuff

Cowardly from the referee blowing the whistle for full time so he wouldn't have to make the decision. Pathetic.

How did the ref not see Rooney do Mignolet with his outstretched studs?

    That was very sly.

Not really; we wanted a draw out there today, we didn't want either side getting full points.

Ha ha ha ha ha. The best bit was when they thought they could still win with 10 men.

Fair play to Juan Mata, played well for a lad that's past his peak. Lucky we gambled on a luxury player.

Mignolet's save at the end means Liverpool won the moral victory. Enjoy your trophy of lies and shame United fans. Enjoy your chalice but don't dare drink from it, for it's a poison chalice, of shame and lies!

Stamps and studs flying around from various Liverpool players today. Hopefully DDG is alright. United were terrible 2nd half. The Gerrard red card seemed to be the best thing to happen Liverpool, they only came alive then.

Great 3 points, Top 4 is on.

Two stamps. Disgusting. Hope he gets a 3 maych ban.

Hope Rogers has words with two of his senior players.

Absolutely ****ing delighted to win at Anfield. Delighted.

I hope all fans can see what a good player Fellaini is. Superb. Delighted for him today - bossed midfield and was a constant threat.

Well done Liverpool. Made a better game of it than I thought after the 2-0 and the sending off.

  • Rooney and Skrtel will be lucky not to see further action.

    Lol Rooney

****ing mig rolling around like a clown

Skertal was pure dirt with his stamp

Better than the other way of giving a token yellow. At least now he should be banned.

Rodgers got it badly wrong today & the players didn't show up. Disappointing.

Started so slowly as they gave in last few games and paid for it today

I honestly think Liverpool are going to win this. I can't understand how united are 4th, probably a reflection of how bad everyone else is. The difference here is Liverpool had such an awful start, but are back on the tracks now. Any united fans I know are far from confident about this match. Hope it's won by decent football and not a bad ref decision.

    Lol

    Is it?
Or if he honestly did not know is it not a better decision? to allow retrospective video review, sending him off now wouldnt have made a difference to the game, he know knows that the right outcome will happen, i.e. they will look at the video and see what it warrants.
I'd prefer that then him guessing one way or the other.

United fans talk of "disgusting Liverpool" ignoring the other end of it. Yes the stamps are disgraceful, but the United team today weren't very clean either.

A draw would have you closer to 5th, a United win solidified the top 4 for all.

Had to laugh at all the utd fans being on their morale horses. Has a Man Utd player never fouled or stamped anyone?
