Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I honestly think Liverpool are going to win this. I can't understand how united are 4th, probably a reflection of how bad everyone else is. The difference here is Liverpool had such an awful start, but are back on the tracks now. Any united fans I know are far from confident about this match. Hope it's won by decent football and not a bad ref decision.

Gerrard on the bench. That's not good.. for United.

This should really be a handy 3 home points for Liverpool, however, given it's Liverpool v Man Utd there is the potential that Utd might make a match of it, there might be a wrong ref decision or perhaps a blunder to gift Utd a goal, all that considered you'd still be thinking at best Utd might get a point.

    The reasons for the above;
    - Liverpool have achieved a ppg since their 3 PL defeats on the trot that Utd can only dream about
    - Liverpool have beaten good teams, struggling teams and middling teams in that great run
    - Liverpool have done so without Sturridge for the most part and with a somewhat misfiring Sturridge of late, Sturridge isn't crucial to us as we have show but he will click soon, today would be some day for it.
    - Liverpool have defensive solidity, a keeper in great form and a functioning midfield and attack that Man city couldn't equal of late
    - Utd are coming along in a new found confidence after putting a dismal Spurs away at Old Trafford, Spurs fire when Kane fires, no Kane firing that day so Utd shouldn't take too much from that victory imo.
    - The pressure on Utd is getting appreciative now, the season is almost over and despite their points haul they've rarely looked better than they did last season
    - LVG seems rather dim & clueless.

    :)

Hopefully Sterling is RWB to target Blind who is very slow.

    Both are better premiership players.

Brilliant! Yeah and is Coutinho still better than Ozil as well or was that just before Ozil got back from injury and proved it to be false?

Teams named, sh!t starts to get real.

Bring on the next 55 minutes of excitement followed by 2 hours of extreme anxiety and questioning why i get so worked up by an english football team i have no natural connection too.

But my god what would we do without it!!

I'd imagine having a high 'ppg' after losing 3 games in a row is enough to put Rodgers as the best of all time.

Liverpool 2.34. Interesting that the markets are still rating United as the better team, even taking current form into account

Probably one of the tamest so far as a matter of fact. Not a combined 11 insight.

Tbh, these comments do more damage than 90% of the posts. And honestly, it's really not bad at all right now. There's debates about players but hardly anything major. Some people need to get over themselves if they think what's been posted so far constitutes anything more than standard football debating of two teams....

This is what I don't get about fans. They get to give it all day but the one time a player celebrates in front of them or kisses the badge they start crying. Give it and take it.
