Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Liverpool haven't conceded a goal away from home in the league in over 3 months?

Roll on next Sunday vs Utd.
Gonna be some atmosphere and I'll be in Row 2 in the Kop :D

    Fully deserved.

A top keeper doing his job, then the team improves and we create far more than Swansea did when they were dominant.

Yes, the goal was lucky, but the team did their job, as professionals should.

There was something immensely satisfying about that win.

Sitting in the local all the Mancs screaming for Swansea in the first half. Second half they all left at the final whistle without a peep Love it!

    Winning ugly ;)

Man U got up to third playing crap football. No reason why we can't!

    Fair enough really.

Swansea bossed it between both boxes in the first half but didn't have the balance of serious chances to show for it. They're a nice little footballing team in a "pat them on the head, sure aren't they great" sort of way, but they lack quality up front to make a serious step up.

If you can defend well as a team you always have a chance. Just as much as a poxy goal can swing things against you, so too can one swing things in your favour.

Liverpool were alright. Flat in possession in the first half and a few individuals were fairly ****e, but a decent team performance, which is more evidence of Rodgers earning his corn.

As a neutral I'm delighted with that result. Keeps the battle for the Champions League spots even closer ahead of a huge game on Sunday.

Great to see Henderson and Mignolet making big contributions.

Fair result in the end. Swansea should have took there chances

Liverpool improved in the second half

Poxy goal in the end but think the win is fair overall

Wilfred Bony is clearly a big loss to Swansea

Have to give you credit when it's due, so have to say this is spot on.

Man City fans are worried, Arsenal, United and Liverpool coming to dump them...

Not with Candsome in the side.

If his game was just as attractive as his fine mane of hair and swathy eyes, he'd be captain of Germany by now.

Out of interest Paully, I can't remember, did you think you'd see the two performing as they are now for one of the top sides when they were at Sunderland?

Who are city playing next out of interest?

West Brom at home, should win but people thought they would beat Burnley...

They were so poor against Burnley. Shocking to think that city could very possibly drop out of top four by the end of the season.

Get in ! Joe Allen MOTM for me.
Joe Allen? Mignolet for me, just ahead of Sakho. Shelvey was the best midfielder on show imo.

Anyone think it could be City that drop out of the Top 4?

No, but it would be absolutely hilarious. They are back in the mix though for sure, but I don't think all 3 will overtake them.

Playing a Tony Pulis team is tough.

West Brom have lots of team spirit.

    Could be a draw there.

They have to play Utd, Spurs ( not that I think they will do much) a resurgent Villa and the Saints in their run in.
So who knows. Maybe they might get fourth and with their European form they mightn't get though the qualifier :pac:

Form over the last six games would have all three overtake them.

Of the top 5, Man City look the weakest link at present. Also talk of some dissent within their ranks.

Something rotten at City and it is showing in the results.

City were 20/1 to finish outside top 4 earlier today for anyone that thinks it'll happen

He's a nasty piece of work. Great talent but horrible attitude. Glad we got rid of him.

Was just about to post that, saw it on the Guardian page and missed it during the match. Can't believe the commentators and the post-match commentators haven't mentioned it.

Shelvey's talent doesn't nearly make up for his bull****. Glad to be rid.
