Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Depressing that Mignolet is the only who seems to be in any way alert. And there is no craic whatsoever happening up front.

Allen having a stormer, Doing great work

Mignolet kept us in it twice now, we're not creating enough with Coutihno quiet

Can, as has already been noted, looks off, being outmuscled and being beaten due to over committing

    Our wings backs are wingless
    Suppose to be Eagles
    Playing like Penguins

If we can hold on for the next 40 minutes Shelvey will Wes Brown it for us.

    Pathetic stuff from us

Sturridge isn't running wide, or creating any outlet for the ball at all tonight.

Sturridge is so rusty its not funny now.

This is just like the Blackburn performance so far. No urgency or cutting edge whatsoever. Very frustrating and what I feared. Hopefully they can wake up for the second half and not concede before then.

Everyone except Mignolet needs to buck themselves up.

yeah sturridge, dont pass good lad

Sturridge and Sterling having stinkers again

  • Rodgers will be happy to hear the half time whistle

Liverpool not at the races so far.

That's not giving Swansea much respect, they should be two to the good
    Playing some really nice football
Shelvey having a stormer, winning all the second balls
    Ki is being wasteful though

    Interesting dummy by Routledge :)

Rodgers will have to get two hair dryers out at half-time. Been an awfully lazy sloppy display with zero intensity.

A can of Wd40 at half time and he'll be sorted

That has surely failed to be a valid excuse by now? He's been back for nearly 2 months.

Joe Allen our best player yet again

This is the worst I've seen from Sturridge in a red shirt.

For a team featuring penguins and rust buckets we're doing well to be holding levle

    MIGs or Skrtel surely?

  • Subscribers Posts: 32,855 ✭✭✭✭5starpool

Might as well bring Gerrard on at half time, they've been abysmal so far, it might help. Bring him on for Lallana and put Sterling wide.

    YES !!!

    YOU BEAUTY !!!

    ^^^. Half time whistle.

Mig and Allen the only real positives. Sakho has settled in too after the first few mins

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,395 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

    That was gick.

We did it lads! Half time at 0-0.

That's a genuine gift for us, better be some serious changes for the second half.

    Think he means Mignolet

    passing has been woeful

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Sturridge being just as greedy as Mario was earlier in the season with the same awful outcome.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Monumental anti football performance there in that half.

    halftime 0-0

Maybe its the wrong word but you know what I mean, everything is off by about 25%. Pity Jordan Ibe is out could just push Sterling in to front and centre, that may yet happen.

Shelvey is clearly after the MOTM award

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,455 ✭✭✭lee_baby_simms

Some fine tuning with a wrecking ball needed from Brendan now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,978 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Dreadful viewing, hopefully the second half is more entertaining.

Liverpool, United, Chelsea are all horrible to watch of late. They always seem to be on tv too.

Sturridge isn't good enough to be the number 1 striker for clubs that wish to be in the mix for the major honours.

He doesn't work hard enough for 90mins and can be easily snuffed out when service is limited.

  • Registered Users Posts: 630 ✭✭✭hadoken13

One of the worst performances this year. So many sloppy 10 yard passes. Nothing going right. Too many players doing nothing.

For thr whole build up it looked like moreno was doing his best to avoid the ball....

...good touch on shelveys shot tho

Made about 3 mistakes in a row, getting up a good steam of farty-pants defending from himself, Can not much better. What have they been doing all week?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

Mignolet doing a decent impression of De Gea there

Swansea dominant but nothing to show, Liverpool to nick it in the end

As usual, you're wrong. Allen and Mignolet are the only Liverpool players to come out of that half with any credit.

Swansea have been very good,Liverpool have been woeful. Still all to play for tho.

This is the worst I've seen from Sturridge in a red shirt.
It's like he thinks he really is big billy bollócks now with Suarez gone... not putting the work in and not breaking his árse.

We are getting overrun in midfield with their pressing, Sterling now working hard either...

    they all look so lethargic..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,688 ✭✭✭Nailz

Liverpool lucky in many respects here, can't fault them that though, they're still in it regardless of their dire performance.
