Wheelchair financial Help

Hi I'm in Disability Allowance and have a range of boring conditions. I'm a single parent to 2 Teens and there are times I need a Wheelchair but the Cost is out of my reach Is there any financial assistance for this? Really is getting me down as I just have to stay at home in my bed.

Do you have a medical card? I thought that HSE would provide a basic chair to medical card holders.

I'm not an expert in this, but that was my understanding. Talk to your Occupational Therapist for more details.
