Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I grazed my knuckle on the door frame yesterday and it's at the stage where it is healing, but also a little itchy. I cant scratch it though because it's not quite healed so scratching it hurts :(

Breastfeeding. So beneficial, always spouted as being the most natural thing in the world, handy because you don't have to use bottles or sterilisers etc...

It's not easy. It's a whole lotta work. It's a lot harder than bottle feeding, only you can do it and it HURTS. Your nipples bleed, they ache, the first few seconds are so painful it makes your toes curl. It's like someone has a lighter to them.

Defintely not the general portrayal. Not sure if you should complain to breast feeding advocates or bring the bosoms back to the manufacturer though.

Could someone please explain that bizarre carbon minoxide awareness advert with the chicken?
What the feck does a chicken have to do with minoxide poisoning? I get TA'd by the sheer randomness of it whenever it comes on stage.
Also, TA'd that my blender is on the fritz. Wanted to make a smoothie... *sigh*

Before the invention of the Davy Lamp etc Miners used to take a Canary in a cage down the mine, if they saw the Canary weak/dying they knew that the air was bad and time to get the hell out

(I presume the bird in the ad is meant to be a Canary)

I was about to start my homework, then I heard a chainsaw right outside my window.

When I'm walking down the street on a footpath and a car pulls out of a narrow side street right in front of me, the car is like centimetres from joining the road and the driver wasn't looking out for pedestrians on the path.

So I have to walk behind the car to get by and continue on my way.

I walk behind the car and then the car pulls off.

It only delays me a few seconds by having to walk around the back of the car rather than straight ahead...but it just really annoys me for some reason!

I've just recovered from a particularly nasty cold.
Then I got a chest infection and lost my voice.
    Now I have another cold.
Can you actually fathom it? I feel like bawling my eyes out in frustration.

They're not all bad though. When he goes for his full-Adam Sandler schtick, then it's terrible. But when he's reigned in like in Punch Drunk Love, Funny People, and Reign Over Me, he's brilliant.

He's just come to realize that he can make tenfold doing his usual stuff than he can any other way.

    Anyway -

A trivial annoyance as of late is when you apply for a job and never receive any form of acknowledgement from them.

I think Sandler is great....well, his early stuff and he's had some great movies between lots of fluff.

Hi searly stuff is great but the more recent is tripe, IMO. It was actually watching Pixels that brought this on :pac: it wasn't actually that bad.. not great but not bad

I'm not expecting Happy Gilmore from it, but a bit of nostalgia for old video games I grew up on along with Sandler shows some promise.

I'm annoyed today that I didn't bring it into work as I might have been able to give it a sneaky watch. I have to screen it first before the 7 year old lad looks at it, he's a Pac Man fan and is gumming to see it.

Why oh why would you watch big brother? The thought is a trivial annoyance.

Secondary annoyance: I don't know what "the cups" are - and I know if I google it I'll get more annoyed 'cause I can guess it some sort of reading the future bullshíte.
