Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

As an aside I found your previous post about the toaster and the kettle a little risque for this hour of the morning but maybe Im reading it wrong;)

Also did you close the thread that I spent ages writing a post for and if so can I make a complaint?

I know it makes you go all "Shutter Island". You start wondering if the thread ever really existed or if it was all in your head :)

I went out and got stupidly drunk. It's 4:15 and I have to be at musical rehearsals at 10. God help me!!

You couldn't be that drunk if you're able to type.
Annoyed at myself for not turning off my alarm last night for this morning. Alarm going off like a normal Monday morning.

I've often been on here (and elsewhere) whilst extremely mouldy drunk, yet I've posted immaculate, absolutely gorgeously-written, typo-free, grammatically correct posts.

I too was annoyed by my alarm going off this morning, although I'd been watching the telly since 5.30. The sound of it annoys me, but especially when I shouldn't have to hear it.

I'm also annoyed because I want to do some shopping but it sounds unappealing to go to the shops on my bike. Very windy. And I planned on doing some de-cluttering (for the past few years) but just can't get started.

It was a long journey home.

Now I'm TA'd that I woke up at 11:30 and didn't go to rehearsals. :(

Oh no, did you put your phone in the wash? :( I have no idea if there is any way that you can salvage it but maybe take it out and take it apart and put it in a bowl of rice and into the hot press for a couple of days? There probably isn't much hope though, poor Colser, I'm so sorry about your phone :(

It happened me before years ago where i had a glass of water at the bedside, went to put my phone down and it landed straight into the glass. Like what are the odds of that happening!

We're playing "Brain Box - The World", and one of the questions was -

    "What two mammals are shown?"

    I answered -

"There are three mammals shown!"

Cue world war three as we all hit the internet! :pac:

Scrabble was easier than this ffs, there's something very 1984-ish about that question :(

People who use a new glass every 5 minutes.

Things that stick to the washing up brush eg porridge.scrambled eggs, pasta sauce..turns my stomach.

Yourone here has been using the dryer non stop for about a week or just leaves her clothes in it. I haven't been able to wash clothes, towels or sheets for a week or more now. You can't approach her cos her attitude stinks. It's very selfish of her.

when someone else in the house hears you moving and then rushes to beat you to the toilet/kitchen/whatever, or just to show how they're already up and organized and therefore better than you.

I was lying down enjoying the company of the kittens and Pepper. Over comes one of the kittens and stares at me. I was thinking how cute she was when the little maggot pounced on my eye!!! Oh man its a weird feeling. It's not scratched or anything but it's sore and uncomfortable. Silly kittens pouncing at a blinking eye! :(

Bloody wifi at the gym still isn't working.
I complained twice this past month and they promised they sort it but they haven't.

It's a pain in the ar*e as I have a nice playlist on Youtube that makes me WANT to work-out and I enjoy listening to it.
All I have now is the bloody radio on my phone.

Something similar happened to me just now on the touch site, I had a really long post written that took me ages. I had it checked and double checked to make sure it was ok for spelling, grammar, flow and readability, and then I went to press "Post Reply", without first remembering to highlight the whole post and copy, and the one time, the one time I forget to do it, it's as though I'm smacked in the face with -

"We're having trouble displaying this page, please check your internet connection and try again"

No, no I won't "check my internet connection and try again", I won't even attempt to recall my post as much of what I post just happens on the fly and it's my thoughts at that moment I put down on the page. I can't have those thoughts again, because now they have changed because they have been influenced and overwritten by my current thoughts which are concerned with cursing Three for their "4G" that's more akin to "No G"...

This fcuking weather, and Bank Holidays!
