Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I remember a time (not that long ago) when England fans were slated in all quarters (rightly so) for booing their opponents' national anthems. I wonder if the Scottish fans will get the same criticism?

Well yeah it is of course disrespectful but i am not surprised the Scotland fans booed it is England v Scotland after all.

Not arguing that point at all. Of course they were going to boo it. I'm just saying it'd be nice to see them getting the same condemnation that the England fans got at that time.

They did a fine job at drowning it out an all.

They just belted out "Jimmy Saville, he's one of your own." A beautiful rendition.

Mark Lawrenson has called two players "Craig Brown" so far. Scott Brown when he got booked and Craig Gordon just now. Wonder does he fancy him?!

England close to scoring there. Tierney did well.

I think it was only Rangers fans booing it though :)

Started with a great tempo but lack of out and out chances at both ends.

Alli and Rashford are too callow to make the most of the ball time they have. A lot of waste

Kane has been terrible so far.

:D well they can sing or boo all they want its what is done on the pitch that matters and as of now its not much.....England barely shading it. Two poor teams.

England are a flipping dreadful team to watch. One paced, everything sideways, no urgency.

Southgate is a bit of a herbivore so will probably tell them to keep on doing the same, be patient and "believe in yourselves".

It does have the feel of an end of season unfriendly.

Its a terrible game by two poor teams. The english media wont be so happy about that performance and i bet Southgate will be hung out to dry.

Why is this game on TV3? It's on ITV by the way - dunno how SKY can have it.

Have TV3 their own cameras at the game,Sky/Itv coverage have eng left-right,TV3 r-L. It has me confused anyway

They are probably transmitting the ITV picture reversed.

Rashford looks like a new born foal.

    What did he say?

Said he was over rated and sees himself as a better player then he actually is,has had a good career at Celtic but never moved to the PL to see if he could cut it in that league

How have England not scored there?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,611 ✭✭✭✭ERG89

Southgate is a bit of a herbivore.

    That's a new one to me. :)
I just checked the teams on livescore & saw that Jake Livermore was playing. Genuinely haven t a clue where he is playing now, I want to say West Brom but I'm not certain.

    Sterling should be put on.

Is this how Rashford always plays?

the advertising is set up for the side that tv3 are broadcasting from though, judging by the vauxhall signs behind the goal.

    God awful game.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

Rashford's positional sense is non existent.

Have you never seen him play a game

And, no, if you haven't, he is having a poor game to his standards and needs to be playing more central

Rashford has been very quiet. But then; you could say that about most of the England side today. Alli has been non-existent, Kane a little better (but not much). Lallana has been okay, and as for Dier, I have no idea how he gets in an England squad.

I do not have SKY and I do not spend my time watching other teams in the Prem unless they are playing Liverpool.

TV3 continuously advertising on the screen an "upcoming game" between England and Malta! IN BLOODY 3 MONTHS!

One for the diary! Don't make any plans for that night!

If we're England's B team, then Scotland are their Sunday League team.

Well we aint Englads B team because if we were we would be absolute rubbish.

Ireland would give England a game all day long and there is no way they could say they are much better than us, better players yes, better team.....not by a long shot.
