I'm not sure if it's comforting to go out like that. We've beaten ourselves to be honest with how we played in the first leg.

Best of luck to Monaco, but I can't see them going much further because a more ruthless team won't let them away with it.

When you lose in Europe you have to look at the team that beat you and how they rate relative to the rest of the draw...this is a bad exit.

I said in the first leg that the only thing that would be more Arsenal than the Emirates game would be to still go through and then go out to Basel or Porto - so near.

Hardly poison to be fair. There a decent team and any side set up like they were tonight are very hard to break down. They defended well in fairness to them.

Yeah we were absolutely idiotic in the first leg and monaco did really well.

A real shame that we threw away what was a very decent draw. We played well this evening but honestly we're not at the level that we aspire to be.

Arsenal are at a better level than Monaco imo and should have won tonight.

However the top 16ish sort of level? Probably about right atm
