Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I was driving earlier this evening and the Glow Plug started flashing. then i pulled in to the hard shoulder i then pulled out again and the after accelerating from 2nd gear the car was struggling to gain speed . i then pulled in again and turned the car off and on again and it was fine after that. any ideas what it might be. (also i had the 4 injectors reconditioned two months ago by the mechanic)

Sounds like you might need them done again those symptoms have all the hallmarks of a faulty injector.

if it is the injectors again will i have to foot the cost for them again???, cause the mechanic said that the injectors had a one year guarantee. the mechanic said that he sent them to somewhere in mayo to be reconditioned and he fitted them in. i was charged 690e for the company in mayo to recondition them and around 200 for the mechanic.

Really all depends on both the mechanic and the diesel shop. Did they drain youre fuel tank or even take a sample of diesel ??

I once had the same car with same symptoms. Injectors. And I had them removed and reconditioned in a ford garage. Lasted 18 months and went again. They were replaced with new ones but car was sold on in the next 12 months. That era 2.0 TDCi Mondeo was well known for the problem.
