Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

George saying city can go through if they score 2 goals. He said it in the first half too.

And hes right. They can go through with 2 goals. Assuming they score a third. :p

    Or hang on for penos.

    Bony? Wildcard time.

    Looked level in the replay

Behind the ball I thought which is onside no matter where the defenders are

Missing these chances could come back to hurt Barca.

Not tonight it wont, City aren't in the game at all.

Pelligrini's number must be up at the end of the season.

I'd be on the Ronaldo side of things, but Messi is the better player overall, and will be remembered as so. Ronaldo deserved the yearly awards, but Messi is just phenomenal.

Messi's range of passing and skill in tight situations is what sets him apart from ronaldo.

At 30m, can you ever really be a wildcard?

    Brave effort here from City

I wish manager changes were done like substitutions with the replacement manager coming down from the stands.

    Quite an expensive wildcard.

True. But Ronaldos physicality sets him apart from Messi. Its much of a muchness to be honest.

They need Busquets. Is he injured?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,335 ✭✭✭Ardent

Ye probably best to base your opinion on his career on 3 average games he played at the world cup.

Well, given how poor he was at the business end of the world cup, he has some more to do to prove he is better than Maradonna was.

Messi's range of passing and skill in tight situations is what sets him apart from ronaldo.

And decision making, and ability to beat a man or four, before delivering a pin point pass etc.

Possibly the most expensively assembled team ever? I think you're being overly kind to them

Is David Silva all that really?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,014 ✭✭✭✭Corholio

Navas should be attacking Alba any chance he gets, a simple 1-2 and Alba is usually all over the place.

Shocking lack of pace from the supposedly rapid Navas? How fast is Alba?!

Peno. Aguero to score. And score the second before fulltime.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,651 ✭✭✭stiffler123

    Peno, yes! Some hope.

In fairness Joe Hart has been pretty good.

Did the person behind the goal just make a decision!!

Barca could pay the price for the missed chances

Messi scores as many goals as Ronaldo, but his skill, vision, creativity, artistry are a million times better than Ronaldos

Looks like the behind the goal official gave it. Big call.

Regardless of any contact, Aguero dived there.

They have to score if they want to have any chance.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

    He plays for that Aguero

    That was a peno

Wow...Barca only have themselves to blame if they lose this.

    Hart has been splendid.

And that's a cracking decision from the ref. Stupid from Pique.

I thought navas was supposed to be quick. He's a very underwhelming player.

    Pen!!!
Could this be about to get interesting?

    No.
    It couldn't.
