Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Miniature apple trees - what size container?

I've just ordered a couple of apple trees from Future Forests. They're one year old and on M27 rootstock.

I bought a couple of containers that are about 22 inches across and was planning on putting them in those straight away. However I've been reading some conflicting articles about "overpotting" and now I'm a bit worried that the containers are too big. Would I be better starting them in 12 or 14 inch pots for a year or two and then potting up? They're one year old trees, so barely more than twigs I'd imagine.

Any advice would be much appreciated. :)
