Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cheap phone shop might be able to salvage something. If it's only a mainboard connector that's fried, a replacement might bring it back to life.

For €161.30 apple will -most likely- replace it.

Edit, just read it still seems to receive msg and stuff. Phone repair shop probably cheaper option, highly recommend e-tech in dundrum.

Put it in some cooking rice may draw out the moisture.

Its possibly not the screen- but the tiny coil for the backlight- when powered on while wet- its known to blow. Its a cheap part - but absolutely tiny and very difficult to replace without the correct soldering tools.

Check a few repair shops for prices.
