221mm bulb option

Hi, I've several fittings for 221mm bulbs. The bulbs blow frequently and are expensive to replace. Apart from normal filament bulbs are there other types that I should be looking to use?

It won't be as bright but will consume far less energy.

Yea, I thought that, when those things say equivalent to 30W I'm dubious. I've seen 3.5W online, is there some where in Dublin - preferably west Dublin that has 3.5W? (for 221mm obviously).
