query on pioneer av vsx 521

    Hi guys

    Bought this av receiver from you about 3 years ago and I have a question

    I have a sat receiver and a ps4 connected to it via HDMI.

    I have them plugged in the video port and the bd port respectively and they work fine.

    There are other 2 HDMI ports available on the receiver for DVD and DVR/bdr however when I plug the ps4 and the sat receiver into these ports I get no audio. I also plugged in a roku Lt player into these two ports and I get no audio.

    So the only solution I have for getting audio seems to be to plug them into the TV and set the av receiver to tv/sat.

    Is there something that I am missing for getting the audio to work on these two ports?

    Hi J4vier.

    Have you checked in the 521 settings for those HDMIs incase they are set to something other than HDMI.
    Not sure if this was a feature on the 521..... I'll check.

    Having both HDMIs fail at the same time is a possibility but very very rare.

    .......There is a section in the manual on page 21 which shows how to check the audio input signal. This is also mentioned in the additional information section at the bacl on the manual.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
