Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A friend of mine posted the first message on Facebook and I shared it on my timeline as there are quite a few horsey people on there

It's fair tricky to overtake someone with a heavy trailer on the back of a jeep, You need to hang back, build up the speed and hope to god you don't need to slow down. I always try to be a bit nicer to people towing when I'm riding on the roads as I know how much of a pain it is to have to speed up and slow down with a heavy load.

Throwing stuff out of the window is a bit of a skanger move though, and it isn't as if it is a joy to meet horses on the road either, you've to turn off the car so you don't spook the daft creatures. I'd love to see how they would react if someone lobbed a cup of tea at them while they're arseing around on their horses, or racing their sulkies down the road

Is the guy that made the comment having a bit of a jab about town lands,Like the way we mock the webbed fingered bunch from the next town because they're fairly closely bred, it's all in jest really.

. . . Or is he being a nob for the sake of it, In which case I wouldn't bother with him,as he is only trying to get a reaction

While the behaviour is out of order and totally unacceptable, I find it best to ignore dickheads because you can't reason with stupidity. They'll just bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

If you had the registration then you could have gone down the formal route.

I've no time for muppets so I don't give them any.

Although sometimes I have to struggle with myself to remain calm and unreactive in such situations.

I find some of the roads in North and West County Dublin abit scary as they were just not designed for the volume of traffic that goes on them nowadays.

Even driving on them I'm not too keen on, let alone cycling.

Head the balls like you mention above really don't help it either.

You would imagine a person in a position like Mr. White would have some respect for the citizens of this republic who pay his salary.

That picture is so grainy, I thought it was going to be an article about the civil war. Then I read the date 1997, surely we had better cameras then!
