this show is a step above anything else I'm watching atm

its been high quality all season
This has actually been my least favourite season for some reason. It's still amazing, but nothing like the first season IMO.

I very much enjoyed Season 1, I must get stuck into watching Season 2 very soon!

There is a lot of ground-laying in particularly the first 4 or so episodes, the last 2 weeks have been particularly good and are setting up (hopefully) an epic back 5 episodes.

This is a very good binge-watch show IMO given the stark pacing differences between episodes week-to-week.

Anyone have any idea what Hall said to Bruno's nephew when they called into his house and what was in the suitcase ?
    Great episode again I thought

Why am I only seeing it on Tuesday night ? Is it on Monday and I'm missing it somewhere?

Bobby has totally shot himself in the foot on this one. Fantastic episode though.

Anyone else notice the Trading Places reference?

That whole scene was reminiscent of Louis showing up at his members club

Holy crap why arent people raving about this programme like House of Cards or even Breaking Bad? The quality is exceptional, no other show has hooked me like this in recent times. Great scene in the private members club, great storyline overall with Sandekot and everything else.

I thought the first few episodes were a slow burner but the last three episodes have been exceptional.

Put it this way, space will have to be made on the bandwagon at some point soon! Easily my favourite show around at the moment, everything is brilliant!

I think I'm on Axe' side , I like Chuck too but I think he is actually more damaging than Axe

    Absolutely, he's the consummate opportunist/capitalist

I hate them both and hope they both loose. I don't think that's ever happened in a TV Show before for me :)

    Absolutely love the Series though.

Honestly I can't abide either of them, for different reasons. Axe is a predatory mutant of capitalism, and Rhoades an amoral schemer who undermines the credibility of democratic justice.
Both are the rotten extremes of the destructive alpha male type & the institutions they stand for. This seems intentional of course, makes for more fascinating and successful drama, but neither of them could be 'liked' as such. Wendy Rhoades in many ways is the most interesting figure, caught in the middle of a pair of stubborn rutting stags (speaking as someone only a couple of episodes into season 2, so no idea if this status quo persists)

I find the 2 wives as fascinating characters. Rhoades has always had a dominating figure in his life (father or wife) whereas Axe is the boss in every room, but the interactions with the wife when he was "Axe" to her about his business showed that she wasn't being pushed around and then they reset to being equals again.

Exact same for me. I think the things the both of them have done will catch up to them.

Had to laugh when the secretary he sent into the psychiatrists office started getting ideas and Axe shot her down: "It was a script, dont internalise it..."

it looks like chuck is going to try and set axe up for something by going to his father with the file on the IPO on the juice company for his friend IRA. thats what it looks like to me but i cant see ho whe will do it.....
at the same time i think there are a couple of people setting theselves up for a fall - i think Axe will get into trouble with Vicotr and what they are doing together. Also i think chuck and his father will get into trouble by using trust money for the investment and also it looks as if chucks father bought land where the new casino is going.
i think chucks wife sleeping with the other man a couple of weeks back will come back to haunt her.
the only person that i can see that hasnt made a mistake so far is Axe's wife - but things dont seem to look to good between axe and her at the moment.

it's my favorite show but wendy being stuck in the middle of everything is a little implausible imo

I think the writers have struggled to make her role meaty enough after she left Axe Capital. She's just been drifting around and not having much impact on the story.

    Thoroughly dispicible characters all round.

    Scumbags.
