    Hi all,
I'm looking for a little bit of advice - I have test driven this car and automatically fell in love with it. However, I am a first time aunty and as a result I have to figure out if I can fit the new baba in his car seat in this model? Have enquired in a few places but they seem to be selling to people who don't have kids or need to bring small kids in the car. Can a car seat be fitted in this car????
Thanks, or if anyone has any suggestions for a new car that's nice to look at and can fit a small child, please let me know! Have a peugeot 206cc at the minute so not looking for a family car - only will have nephew on occasions that I'm required!!

    How old is your nephew?

If he's a baby using a rear-facing carseat I doubt the carseat will be sitting properly due to the very narrow rear seats.

If he's a toddler and can use a front facing carseat, I'd check whether the passenger's front airbag can be disabled and move the passenger seat all the way back after attaching the carseat. Do not mount a carseat on the passenger seat with the airbag enabled!

Most carseat manufacturers maintain a list with compatible vehicles, I'd pick a few of the most popular ones(Maxi-cosi, Britax, recaro, BeSafe, etc), choose the right carseat group for the height/weight of the child and start checking the car compatibility lists for each carseat.

Check out Hyundai Veloster, has isofix anchors in rear & a rear door on passenger side for easier access

There isn't a lot of space in the back and much much less so with a baby seat. I'm no car seat expert but at Christmas we had a seat for my girlfriend's 1 year old niece in my RCZ. I don't if she would use the same seat as a new born or whatever.

Had a quick look at the Maxi-Cosi website

    http://maxi-cosi.carseatfitting.com/gb-en/baby/peugeot/rcz/2/coupe/2010

There are rear-facing carseats that will fit in the RCZ , examples

If you opt for a carseat that fits on the passenger seat, remember to disable the airbag!!!
