Apple buds with Lumia

My 735 works fine with the above but only the pause switch on the buds work; is there any way to get volume working ? No I don't want to switch off Apple Buds they're by far the best phones I've had.

No, the pin arrangement is different for ear/headphone remote on Windows Phone vs iPhone.
