    Just saw this tonight.

    Hmmmm.

Firstly, I'd love to know where they all are, so if anyone knows them please spill the beans!!

First house... staircase was just made for falling face first into the fire  Other than that, I loved it. Although I'd really liked to have seen a Dermot-Room-To-Improve style model of the floor plan - it's really hard to get a sense of how the houses flow with all their fancy camerawork.

The barn - meh.... as someone said, while they're a honeymoon couple it's grand, but a bit short on practicality in the long run. It's like a big open-plan one-bed apartment with no doors. A very NICE open-plan apartment with no doors, mind you.....

Plastic house - oh no. Thought it was awful! Again, very hard to get a sense of how it was actually laid out. The endless white plastic with black stripes didn't help! A pal of mine from my teenage years had one of those cantilievered bathrooms tacked onto the middle floor of a Victorian house - used to give me the heebie-jeebies just stepping into it!

Going on what was shown, I'd have gone for the first one - seemed the most homely to me.

Liking the new judge, and revelling in the lack of OH WOWWWWs in episode one.

The converted barn had a homely feel so wins for me. With the first house I'd feel I spent too much money and couldn't enjoy it ! The polycarbonate house is a batchelor's version of home and far too bland for me.

I only caught up with this episode last night. Guy did a great job on the plastic house but I would not have picked it (I can't believe that Declan gave it a 10). New judge is a good addition.

    Agree! Certainly less WOW's!

Not liking it at all. Usual open plan white with a bit of grey. I do not see what the judges see. Where is the personnality? I just see the house of someone terrified of not being cool.
