Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Despite the current obstacles, it was decided last night at a committee meeting, and after input from AGS, that the Drogheda wheelers race weekend will go ahead on 18/19th April.

We will be running 5 races in total - the 3 stage Ras Na Nog youth race, as well as the Peter Bidwell and Coombes Conor senior races. With 3 new circuits for the Ras Na Nog, and a new HQ in Bellewstown race course, it promises to be a challenging race, and the eventual winners will have certainly earned their victories.

More information including route profiles can be found on our website - www.droghedawheelers.ie

As you are no doubt aware, running road races in the current climate is under threat, and faces a number of obstacles. With this in mind, we are asking that anyone who may be interested in marshalling or helping out at the event make contact with us in advance, as we will be holding a marshall briefing and assigning marshalling posts a couple of days in advance of the event.

People interested in marshalling can contact any member of the club, or alternatively give wav1 or myself on here a shout.

All help will be appreciated, and will go towards promoting and protecting the sport we hold dear.

    Thanks in advance,
    Lenny
    Drogheda Wheelers.
