Standing Order - easter

Our bank account is with AIB, and our mortgage is with Haven; the payment usually comes out on the 6th, which falls on the Easter Monday. Our bank account is with AIB, and our mortgage is with Haven; the payment usually comes out on the 6th, which falls on the Easter Monday.

Its a tight month this month, and we know from experience OHs wages which usually arrive on a Monday will arrive on a Tuesday after a bank holiday - we are trying to work out when the payment will be taken, the preceding Thursday 2nd April or the following Tuesday 7th April.

I tried asking Haven, and they couldn't tell me.

If they can't tell you, you're best to plan for the previous Thursday.

If it's a standing order, you need to contact your bank, they'll be the only ones who can tell you. AIB (for example) state "Should the date you select be a weekend or bank holiday, your account will be debited on the next business day". Haven have no control over when a standing order occurs
