    What are your thoughts on the new Topsy Turvy cake tins??

    They're not very new, but they look quite cool. In my opinion if you go for a topsy turvy cake you have to be extra careful with your decoration because people are more likely to examine it and find flaws if there are any!

    I don't like the tins, the cakes don't look quite topsy turvy enough, they really need sloped sides too to give the correct look and if you have to carve in the sides you may as well carve the top. I think the fact that they are being sold off for half nothing is a clue as to their usefulness :)

    Agreed, have found using round tins works just as good.
