    Hi banjobongo,

Thank you for getting in contact with us here on Boards.ie.

With the upcoming long weekend ahead, any Direct Debits or Standing Orders due on Friday the 3rd will be processed the next working day which will be Tuesday the 7th.

We hope this helps and enjoy the weekend.

    Thanks,
    Elaine

TARGET2 is closed on Good Friday, so while BOI maybe open they will not be able to perform any transfers outside their own accounts.

When is the money (including lost growth) Michael Noonan took in the Pension Levy going to be paid back?

    Hi banjobongo,

While Friday is not a public holiday, it is a holiday for banks and as such will be a non-processing day. Any Direct Debits or Standing Orders due on the 3rd will be processed on the 7th.

As this is an annual occurrence your employer should already be aware and have made alternative arrangements for payroll. Bank of Ireland's Business customers have already been made aware of the cut off times for payments for this weekend.  For more information on this please see here

If you're employer does not bank with Bank of Ireland we would suggest that you contact them to ensure that the appropriate steps have been taken for their payroll.

    Hope you enjoy the weekend.

    Thanks,
    Elaine
