What do people think of Ringrose?

His talent is obvious but unless he spends the whole summer in the gym, downing protein shakes, I don't think he'll be physically ready for senior rugby next season.

I would expect him to be ready for lower level Pro12 games next season and Id be very surprised if he didnt feature in a few of them. Hes not 'built' but hes 6'1 and has a lot of power in his frame, hed be able for the pro game a lot sooner than someone like Dardis.

MOC mentioning that guys are thinking about a few things that are around the corner and they've tried to limit that this week. Obviously the focus just isn't there.

    Good start though.

Maccer gone already. Bang to the head.

We've been making some ground but at times our line is flat in places and deep in others meaning options aren't there for the ball carrier.

And after a decent enough start Edinburgh look to play at pace and make all the ground back in a fraction of the time. Awful missed tackle from Kirchner.

Is it possible to get the red button feed for Alba?

Seanie, COS and D Kearney working hard to force the turnover there.

Thought seanie was gonna kill the scrummie there!

    Handbags, nothing more.

Still Dev took the Edinburgh 6 off outside the ruck. It's something that's really bugging me about the game at the moment. Players seem to be allowed to take guys out of the game around the ruck like that.

When you search for BBC Alba you should see two channels, both labelled BBC Alba. One of them is the English feed.

    BBC Alba 10.803 H 22000 5/6 DVB-S

Finally found this, hopefully there are some more tries like the first one

And back to conceding territory like it's going out of fashion. Thankfully that kick from Visser wasn't great.

    jesus...

WTF!? Second time we lost our own line-out in a few minutes and then they waltz through 3 tacklers. What was that impression of defence about? And it's level again 10-10. That was hopeless.

Two horrible line outs in a row, followed by powder puff tackles from McGrath and Murphy.

    Not good enough.

    Jack McGrath :(

Great try. Brilliant and simple. Kearney timed his pass very well.

So much frustration! Again, great try, glimmers of great play, just unfortunately mixed with some absolutely dreadful play and coughing up territory...

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,169 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    That's a great try tbf.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,762 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

In fairness to Mads he's inviting guys onto the ball well.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,805 ✭✭✭Swan Curry

Who's the Edinburgh lad co-commentating? He's not half bad.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,762 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

Scrum struggling. Line-out a mess (tough circumstances with only 1 lock). Thank God we're able to find those gaps in midfield.

HOLD-FIX-GIVE!!!!! Stop f-ing passing without an Edinburgh player anywhere near you. There was a real opportunity there and it was butchered by releasing the ball far too early.
