Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have just bought a 8 speed shimano chain and trying to use a sram 8 speed missing link and impossible to join! Tried a 7 speed link and impossible to join! What the hell is going on? Do I need to employ two ruddy elephants to pull the chain apart so as the links work! I have tried sram links and kmc links and nothing works!

Put the link in, position chain so that missing link is between the top of the chainring and top of cassette. Put bike on ground, pedal at 3 o clock. Pull front brake, stand on pedal. Link should lock in place.
