Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The real funny bit is the politics of volunteering to make a private company profit. Never got my head around that.

It has all gone a bit 1'984' around here lately, I do wonder if trained professional mods should be the order of the day.

Even if it is an April 1st joke, a lot of it still rings true in the context of the site.

It's weird how the mods over there still have the power to remove posts that are calling it an April Fools joke.

    *strokes hairless chin*

    And its gone.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,088 ✭✭✭aaakev

Its an Aprils fools joke, and also an utterly idiotic thing to do. If those mods really thought that was a good idea then they are too stupid to do the job.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,188 ✭✭✭LDN_Irish

It's a bit like watching one of those pranks where a woman pretends she's been cheating on her fiance and it turns out he's been riding her sister and ma.

To be fair, it's one of those nutjob forums (like cycling) where stuff like that seems plausible.
