You got over 17C and down to one degree - nice continental weather!

Touch of grass frost here last night (min 2.9C), now 10 degrees and the sun has just finished burning off some low grey cloud.

Calm - expect the easterly breeze to arrive in about an hour or two to stop the rise in temperature.

Weird Phenomenon here in west Clare, the temperature in the past house has increased dramatically, its nearing 20c at the moment.(17c all day) Very warm out.

Stunning day here near Tralee

I see the SW and Kerry in particular got the warmest temperatures at just over 17C .

Wind from the ENE felt cool earlier in the day until the sunshine climbed high in the sky, the last few days the Solar Radiation reading is just getting over 1000W/m² and UV is now getting above 4 on the Index.

Cooling down now to 12C approx.

Rain free day 5 ( looks set to be mostly dry the coming week also)

Great day again here near Tralee, sunshine dawn to dusk. Some nice Lenticulars high up over the mountains and a fair amount of smoke lower down coming from from a gorse fire .

Felt cool at times in the sometimes brisk E'ly wind, needed to be in the sunshine and sheltered in order to sit out.

Got up to 16C approx.

After the past few days of endless sunshine back to overcast today - and it's cool with a bit of a breeze and only 6.9C (overnight low 4.1C).

Only reached 12C here yesterday despite almost calm conditions, cloudless sky and the sun within a few weeks of it's high point.

We must be in a very deep flow of cold air (excuse me for getting very technical )

Cloud has cleared here in Dublin 16 to give another stunning day, but, cool, out of the sun, in the east breeze. 11.5c atm.
