Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Energy Harvesting ( Thesis Help!!)

    Well folks,
Just looking for a small bit of guidance here on my final year project. I am doing a thesis on generating electricity while walking and am using piezoelectric discs mounted in an insole to be placed inside a shoe. The PZT discs will then compress and produce a voltage when distorted past their equilibrium. I have wired the discs in parallel and will then pass this through a diode bridge to rectify the output voltage from AC-DC.

What i would like to know is where to go next with this and how exactly how to store the small amount of energy that i will be generating?

    Thank you in advance,
    Mitsi.
