    Hi everyone,
First things first, I am still quite young so I have no previous experience doing anything like this before.
Me and a friend of mine want to sell some T-shirts (roughly 200) with a picture/logo on it.
However we have no idea how we would go about getting them made/printed etc..
Does anyone know any websites that specialises in this that would be relatively cheap so we could sell them on a make some sort of profit?
    Thanks a million!

Are you getting your own printed or just any random ones with a logo? Short run T-shirt printing is very expensive.

If you are looking at doing your own

    http://www.buytshirtsonline.co.uk/digital-direct-to-garment-printing-i70

Used them before for a small run worth having a look. You are looking at €6/€7 a pop for a basic design and probably another €3 for more elaborate designs. I have used igopost.ie for doing promo bag stuff I think they do T-shirt printing but they are probably going to be a bit more expensive.

Basically I have an image that I designed that I want printed onto the front of a black t-shirt. I then want to sell them on so I was hoping to get them made as cheap as possible while still being of decent quality.
Thanks for the reply Jimmii, I'll have a look at them now!

You could try spreadshirt.com. No cash outlay required but it only really allows online sales, and its a different approach to what you had in mind probably but you can easily sell your own design through your own page with their sell your own options.

To get them done as economically as possible you would probably want to print them yourself you can get transfer paper may have a test run with that. What sort of price point are you looking at selling them at? If its €8/€9 then people probably aren't going to mind much if you are looking at €25+ then they will obviously expect it to last!!

I'm after looking at doing it myself with transfer paper, and although it is a bit hard work, its probably cheaper to do! Its also handier cause I can play around with designs and if they aren't selling I won't be left with 200 t-shirts! My price is going to be roughly 9 euro but depending on the quality of the t-shirt I might give our take a euro.
Just out of interest would you happen to know which websites would be best for selling speciality T-shirts? :P

Also have to say I like the look of spreadshirt, but that would be further down the line for me. I have no prior experience at this so I'm going to have to play around with my designs etc before I try to start making a little profit!

    Zazzle
    Cafepress
And etsy is where you can start selling them.

There's Chinese manufacturers on sites like alibaba.com and dhgate.com , but their quality can be hit and miss. Are these designs relative to a TV show etc.. or just an artistic design? What type of people are you hoping to sell too?

Ya I was in contact with a few Chinese manufactures that I found on Alibaba but I might be wrong but I just had a feeling it was a bit dodgy.I have a few ideas but they are mainly artistic designs and one or two slogan type t shirts with a picture.
I was hoping to get a stall at a local market and see how I get on and eBay and maybe adverts as well!

Yeah they can be a bit dodgy, I ran an order with them before and asked for cotton and it came as an elastene material like a gym shirt. Get a sample first anyways if you do order from there, most sellers are reputable. That's a good idea, hope it all goes well :)
