GFX card upgrade

Have narrowed it down to these two cards. Just trying to figure out which one i should get and if there is much of a difference. I have a pair of the Gigabytes myself. It's probably the best in terms of power/cooling for 970's but it's quite large (a bit over 12 inches long). The EVGA card is only 9.5 inches long so it will easily fit most cases.
