In fairness Liverpool fans, Rodgers is doing you all a favour in not having to pay extortionate fees to BT Sport for next season's Champions League coverage.

    Silver linings.

The good news for arsenal fans is you can pay bt good money to watch other teams play in the semi final and final of the competition.

Nice one Arsenal. Liverpool got away with one today as mad as that sounds. Could easily have been 7 or 8.
    Nice try
Arsenal 4-1 Liverpool FT: Shots: 16-13 Chances created: 12-11 Pass accuracy: 85%-83% Interceptions: 29-10

Arsenal were obviously the better team though

    Just a blip for Liverpool
Damage was done in first 3 months
    Not the last three games
    We'll go on we'll fight
    Viva Villa

Arsenal fans must be kicking themselves they started the season so bad. They really should be challenging

Yes it is true but were ravaged by injuries at the start of season.

If Pool hadn't started season so badly you would have great chance of top 4.

Sterling was great today, he was one causing some trouble
Coutinho also amazing, the rest were average.

Did you not watch the game? Wheres the stat for "Completely outplayed"? Because that's what happened.

You can't lose 4-1 and be just average :pac:

I've nothing against Sterling and don't watch pool that much but today he was fast and little else.

One fa cup in 10 years is hardly something to shout about and call yourself a big team. Liverpool have won more in this time.

    4-1 mate.

Disagreeing with a United fan supersedes logic.

Of course the same can be said in the reverse for a lot of cases.

It's a big if. We don't deserve top 4 this year. The players we spent with the Suarez money have being very disappointing for me . Top 4 with boring ballo and lambert not a hope. We have regressed hugely this season.

But they are "a superpower in world football".

Average 6th position over the last 5 years.

But yet still seem to call themselves a top club.

If anything, they've over achieved so far this season in 5th.

I'll talk about the future so , arsenal don't stand a chance of winning the champions league any time soon.

Sterling was good, but not a lot to play with. Countinho the same. They succeeded with
their attempts to play , they had nothing to play with most of the time though. I can't blame those two for what the rest did today .

    Well done Arsenal.

Bar a 15 min spell head and shoulders the better team today

Liverpool CAN'T win the Champions League anytime soon because they aren't good enough to qualify. ;)

Isn't that easy to say after the event. I don't see much else that he could have picked when you look at his options.
It's his options is his main issue.

Arsenal are just in the competition to make up numbers like they have been for a number of years now. If my team play for a trophy I want to see them stand a chance of winning it.

He spent 100 million in the summer, he should have plenty of options. he cant stop himself from buying rubbish.

So there is no history of BT disliking Arsenal, and the British media isn't full of Liverpool has-beens?

Terrible decision by the ref there after Danny done some amazing skill to set up a counter

    Thomson
    Carragher
    Souness
    McManaman
    Owen
    Redknapp
    Beglin
    Houghton

    Edit: Hansen
    Lawrenson
That's off the top of my head

Rodgers saying Sterling was outstanding was nearly as bad as him trying to defend Can tackle.

    Jaysus Brendan, stop digging.

I love how you almost certainly looked up the stats, saw the shots on target and decided "nah that doesn't help".

    Ahem *clears throat*

    SHOTS ON TARGET
    Arsenal 10 - 2 Liverpool (1 pen)

A load of crap long rangers does not make you equals.
