Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Oh I am happy it's funny to watch when you see a set of fans bang on about how they always play in the champions league get to the last 16 or quarter finals and bottle it big time.

Well I suppose you wont be watching Liverpool on Tuesday or Wednesday Nights so you Might as well watch something that entertains!

    You never mentioned injuries.

    Why would I mention injuries?

Arsenal are in a better position than liverpool right now but honestly is it not worrying that things are stagnant for years now.

Arsenal had two books about finishing 4th last season. What's your point.
Or celebrating 4th like they won a trophy it was an embarrassment.
    What's your point ?

Just showing how small time your club is if they can win it and you can't.

Arsenal fans wanted wenger sacked at the start of the season. Bright for arsenal. Come on. Same thing every season. Arsenal fans get their hopes up play good football. It all goes tits up. If only we didn't have injuries we could have won the league. I am hearing the future is bright for 6 or 7 years now.
Nah not really gone you just highlighted how bad arsenal are in Europe that's all and thanks it gave me a good laugh.

Nobody is saying that. We are just saying it's the same old arsenal every year. Does this sound familiar. Next year will be our year. If only for injuries.

    It's been about development.

I know you want to throw out the old classics.

I'll say 'you were a big team in the 80's'

You'll say 'we won a CL recently'

I'll say 'we qualify for it all the time'

You'll say 'but you do nothing with it'

    Blah blah blah.

The truth is that the game begins and ends with money these days. Liverpool last year were a total anomaly to the general order which sees teams finishing more or less in line with what they spend.

There actually is no way or plan for Liverpool to catch up with us. At least for the decade you call stagnation, we were working on a plan. What's yours?

Get lucky with another Suarez? He'll still want out the next year.

Again I will repeat for you. Yes they were stagnant. Please take 400 million quid away from yer spending the last 10 years. Where would ye be?

When we got back to a stable financial position we signed Ozil, Sanchez, improved the squad greatly in last 2 years, won a trophy and are 2nd in League. That isn't stagnation...it's long term planning and progress.

If ye have the vision and guts to invest 400 million over 8 years and have a manager good enough to keep ye (or get in to top 4) il be rooting for ye.

Since we stopped the selling rot ad started building the current squad, our points totals have gone

    68, 70, 73, 79

Now we're on 63. Give us six wins from 8 and we'll be on 81.

I really wanted progress at the outset of this year but with the start we had, thought that topping 79 would have been impossible. Fair play to the team but it's a measure of the quality we have.

No more losing players. We just have to figure out who we can get that is better than a current option ... which is getting harder and harder.
