    .
TMZ reports that WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall was physically escorted out of an indie wrestling event in Asbury Park, New Jersey this weekend after promoters claimed he was too drunk to perform.

Hall reportedly appeared to be drunk hours before his scheduled meet & greet at the Skate & Surf Music Festival this weekend. TMZ says Hall was given multiple chances to sober up but wouldn't. Promoters told him to leave but he refused and demanded to be paid. Security had to be called in and they escorted Hall off the property.

Promoter Ricky Otazu told TMZ Sports:

"The event was too well run for us to make a fool of ourselves by allowing him to appear. We will no longer be associated with him until he gets his life in order."

Poor Razor will never be free of his demons.

That's one of the most depressing things I've heard in a long time...

Jesus that is so sad. It never leaves you, the disease. I hope Dallas and Jake are in the picture.

Risk of relapse is about 80% when looking at population stats if I remember correctly from epidemiology!

So horrible to hear about Hall, one of the best of all time but seemingly just cannot over come his demons, alcoholism is a horrible disease and can destroy lives. Hopefully he can get passsed this recent relapse!

That's mainly because he almost never speaks publicly out of character

Hence why it will be huge for him to have an hour long (or whatever it is) sit-down interview

Look up any of his out of character interviews, or when he was the Biker Taker - he was great on the mic.

Unless it's in character. Might be a struggle to fill an hour or so.

It can't be. It'd be the worst hour ever.

I'd love it if Taker brought back his Biker gimmick just for the Stone Cold Podcast

His promo about dumping Big Show in the desert when they were a tag-team was one of the most cringeworthy I can think of.

The Attitude Era boys did a magnificent job on it.

He wasn't Biker Taker then though. He was just coming off the Ministry of Darkness gimmick

I'd love it if they reeled out Undertaker to rib Austin and Taker remained in full character to an unaware Steve.

Steve: "How did you feel about losing the streak?"

Undertaker: "It pained the creatures of the night".

I know. Talk about the largest penny in history dropping. My 12 year old self would absolutely kick the living sh1t out of my jaw with a Sweet Chin Music, had he known of the opportunity that passed by!

Depressing to hear about Hall. Hopefully it's just a slip and he'll quickly get sober again but recovery is a strange thing, some will tell you it's harder to overcome a relapse after a long period of sobriety than it is after a short period.

I suppose it fits as long as he has the role of HHH's golden boy.
