Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I love how much Herrera wants the ball, screaming for it for about 30 seconds even before Blind got it.

Sherwood is crazy waiting for half time to get the sub on for Hutton.

Great timing too, Villa need push forward more now hopefully.

Rooney is having a pretty rubbish game

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,902 ✭✭✭MagicIRL

Falcao for Rooney could be an option for 60mins, or even to start the second half.

He has more bad games than good nowadays, even when in his best position. For every Spurs game, there's a Liverpool and this. Really would love us to go after a younger striker this summer.

Happy with that first half. Villa have to come out more now and they will tire later leaving space for Ander, Mata and Di Maria to work in. Rooney needs to move out of first gear now and forget that peno incident

The ability to dominate and control a match is really showing now. This is the biggest difference from last season when it was give it a lash jack stuff.

Just caught it from the 15th min, Herrera has been brilliant don't think he's giving a ball away.

Rooney very quiet, but a lot of our play is being created from the wings and the final ball has been lacking at times.

Good opening 20 minutes and then then our game got a little laid back until the final 5-7 minutes of the half. Hopefully we can begin the second half at the same tempo as the end of the first.

This place is awfully, awfully quiet for a Man United match thread, wonder why

they are watching soap omnibus's preparing for next season.

Rooney would want to pull the finger out this half.

On a whole we've controlled the game well. Glad to see we copped on to stop firing in a load of crosses when we got to the box - they have two big CB's that will deal with that all day.

    More or the same anyways.

Watch his movement,he's been making run after run.All he needs is somebody to play him in a few more times. He's not been brilliant but not his worst performance.

Always is when its not on TV. Kind of hard to have mass discussion when the masses can't watch ;)

Damn mods not allowing recipes to be discussed:D:D

If we were losing,it'd be a lot busier if you know what I mean;)

I love how LVG looks as if he's taking in every face in the first few rows while walking to his seat.

The commentator says about Valencia's awful cross there, "That's not like him".

Where do they find these lads?!

They should be begging Fellaini to join. Installing freedom in the middle east, one elbow at a time.

technically its not since he usually trys to kill the full back with every cross :)

Never a foul. Ref is shíte.

Everytime Fellaini gets within a yard or so its like an automatic free.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,074 ✭✭✭pmasterson95

Fellaini should be having field day. Hutton was pressuring him in 1st half, Bacuna doesn't have same defensive instincts.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,902 ✭✭✭MagicIRL

Yellow cards are needed now I think. Few sketchy challenges going in.

This is the eejit that got O'Shea and Brown confused. At least Gibbs/Chamberlain and Dawson/McAuley are same ethnicity. How on earth do Wes and Sheasy look alike?

Need to start wanting the win more, otherwise we might see Villa get one back.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,690 ✭✭✭ElChe32

Haven't gotten into the 2nd half yet, bit sloppy. Di Maria should come on with a bit of energy.

Been very flat the second half.

Ya the pace is gone totally out of the game,

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,080 ✭✭✭✭Maximus Alexander

Very subdued from United, I'd be worried Villa could pull one back in the last 15 mins if the effort levels don't pick up.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,902 ✭✭✭MagicIRL

Fellaini and Rooney haven't been up to much. Di Maria and Falcao on to replace both could be an idea.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,690 ✭✭✭ElChe32

Some fine saves out of Guzan today.

Ok that was down into the turf.
