Dog swallowed water wrong way?

    Hi,

Yesterday my dog was biting the water coming out of the hose. She coughed a bit afterwards but after her dinner she was fine, was running around and playing.
This morning she is coughing again, as if she is trying to hack something up. She has coughed like this in the past but it usually passes after just one or two coughs.

The vet is open in about half an hour, so will bring her down then, but just said I'd ask here to see if anyone has any experience of this!

Definitely bring her to your veterinarian, could be simply that a small amount of water went down her windpipe (trachea).

    Thank you,

She was just at the vets and got a few injections to help her get it up!
