The problems with the Montessori lodge seem to be sorted, and it's back up for lease. Hurray.

    Is subway gone?

Which one? I was down the down at 11, and the one on Wolfe tone street was open.

Is that the one beside town centre car park? Was closed last Friday and this morning when I went looking

I nearly crashed the car, with the smell of breads coming out from it. Around 11 when I was passing.

Passed the Subway in Wolfe Tone Street this morning. Seen notice on door stating opening between 10am and 4pm all this week.

Perhaps no one reading here had any experience?

Never heard of him myself. Wasn't going to Google him either as you could have done that yourself.

Smyths toy shop was on fire earlier. It looked badly damaged at the back when I drove by on the m7.

Are you disappointed that we don't know Mr Cassidy or is it that we didn't tell you that we don't know Mr Cassidy?

Hate for you to have a poor opinion of Naas people...

Naas is a big, industrial/commercialised town and doesn't have a lot of people who would want (or I imagine have any faith in) diviners.

Naas is also full of Blow-ins like me :)

Were they having a bbq out the back or are they just unfortunate with that building? Didn't they have a few leaks in the roof before Christmas?

I know of the man you mention but did not know he was a diviner . I am as big a skeptic as some of the other posters but can only tell you my experience .We decided to get a diviner before digging a well and a gentleman that worked for the council was reccomended . He did an excellent job , criss /crossed until he was satisified and it worked . He did not ask for or take payment. I also asked him and another friend who can divine to check an area that I knew had something below the surface and both located it perfectly , without ever being there before . I am sure if you asked some of the council workmen in the town about this chap they would know of him ,although it was over 10 yrs ago.

Alot of stock in the shop was damaged.

Was down in Mace earlier, couldn't believe how many of the shelves were empty. Was a handy spot to pop down for milk, bread or wine.

Heard EZ Living are having a 50% off sale of smoke damaged stock from the Smyths fire next door.

Harry Corry ( have a sale) , Maxi zoo and Woodies are open as normal.

I saw something on facebook from Kildare now or something like that, that it was the pub up for lease.

Anyone know the story with whats going into Bondi at Swan Dowlings, drove past and saw a sign that I think said "Honey Bunnies" sounds like a strip club! If that's the case can't imagine the local residents not objecting to it being there.

Mace in Monread is gone. Owned by a Pakistani family up the north, hence all the biscuits and stuff that had all the pound sign symbols on it. Heard from the butcher that Costcutter are reopening it very soon. That's a relief anyway.

I gave up vodka about a month ago, and that's when the shelves started going bare. Now maybe they weren't connected, but ya never know!
