33 South Main had an offer on last week for a huge piece of meat with 3 sides for 50 quid.

It may have been for 2 people though.

    How hungry are we talking?

Anyone know if the underground car park is open at Sallins station? Was supposed to be Sept but haven’t seen any news on it in a while.

I asked James Lawless since he was championing this. He says it looks like it will now be Dec/Jan timeframe.

Kildare now reporting that gamestop is closing at end of month. Didn't need many games or stuff over the years, but always got sorted here. Staff are great to be fair. Odd with christmas not too far off

Would anyone have any experience of the Naas Junior Men’s hurling team? Or alternatively Sallins?

I’m 34 and considering getting back into it both for a bit of fitness and a bit of fun. Haven’t played in 15 years though so wouldn’t be interested it it’s massively competitive. Don’t think I could take the knocks the young lads would be handing out!

Naas have a fantastic hurling setup and are in the county final tomorrow. As far as I know they also have a few junior teams also with lads in their 40's playing. Season winding down though.

What's the best restaurant in town for steak?

I had a savage feather blade cut of beef in bouchon above kavanaghs earlier in the year, it's not a steak but delicious nonetheless!

Does anyone know what distance it is on foot from the front gate of Punchestown, in through the parking area, around the tarmac path on the racecourse and back to the front gate.

A bit of a niche question I know. Strava and MapMyFitness are not recording the distance.

Sounds right, tough run as it’s so exposed to the elements

Just did a quick check on MyMyRun. It's not exact as it depends on your route through the car park and around the buildings, but I got 4.58km.
